Enrollment/ Registration

Your Enrollment/Registration informs us of your interest in participating in this workshop held by Hollywood Music Workshop USA.
Enrollment is guaranteed when we receive your payment for which you will receive a confirmation email. Course space is limited so you
are encouraged to pay for the course enroll as soon as possible.

 

How do I pay for my course?

You may pay via bank transfer or PayPal. You will receive a confirmation email,as soon as we have received the course fee. Please remember that, depending on where you live, a bank transfer can take up to 5 days. Our bank account is as follows:

Requirements for our classes

 

Please refer to the course pages for more detailed requirements, especially regarding needed software tools. The links to those detailed course pages are within each description box above or you can get there through the main menu of this site under “Courses.”

Requirements for composition classes:
Knowledge: harmony / music theory, composition and proficiency in working with sequencers.
You will need to bring your own laptop, keyboard and headphones to the venue.

Requirements for orchestration classes:
Advanced knowledge: harmony / music theory, composition.
You will need to bring your own laptop, keyboard and headphones.

 

 

Terms and Conditions (1)

We ask you to observe the following terms and conditions of participation at the Hollywood Music Workshop USA.

By enrolling in this workshop, you agree to sign a “Release of Liability & Agreement” form upon arrival on campus and accept the following as stated:

1. The organizers assume no liability for any loss, theft or damage to instruments and other valuables brought to the course or to any other events of the Hollywood Music Workshop USA.  The participants are responsible for arranging adequate insurance coverage for themselves.

2. Participation in the classes and recreational activities of the Hollywood Music Workshop USA is at your own risk. The organizers shall accept no liability for any accidents or injuries involving the participants. The participants are responsible for arranging adequate insurance coverage for their instruments and electronic gear.

3. We expect an appropriate attitude and behavior from our participants during the workshop. We do not tolerate the use of abusive language or any aggressive and / or intimidating behavior. We also do not allow any discriminating comments or statements of any religious, racial, gender or other backgrounds. We expect that participants demonstrate a professional attitude and show respect towards other participants, our lecturers and our workshop staff. The participants need to follow the instructions of the Hollywood Music Workshop USA staff only if related to the workshop delivery and operations. We also do not tolerate any unsolicited business activities and service offerings by participants in any of the workshop facilities. In case participants fail to
comply with these rules of good conduct Hollywood Music Workshop USA reserves the right to remove participants from the workshop classes and deny further access to the current (without course refund) and future workshop activities and facilities.

4. Access to the workshop facilities will be allowed starting 30 minutes before class begins and up to 30 minutes after the class has concluded for the day. Any access to the workshop facilities beyond these hours would be granted only as a goodwill gesture by the workshop staff but cannot be expected by the participants. This is especially relevant in case participants are bringing stationary equipment to the workshop or plan to work on class assignments outside of class hours as the workshop might not be able to grant additional access to the facilities.

5. You will need to bring your own laptop including software, keyboard and headphones to the venue.

6. All the courses are in English.

PLEASE NOTE:
Hollywood Music Workshop USA does not permit any videotaping or other recording of lectures during the workshop.

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products.

Privacy Statement
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Authorized employees within the company on a need to know basis only use any information collected from individual customers. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our customers.

Confidentiality
Client records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, other than our manufacturer/supplier(s) and if legally required to do so to the appropriate authorities. Clients have the right to request sight of, and copies of all Client Records we keep, on the proviso that we are given reasonable notice of such a request. Clients are requested to retain copies of any literature issued in relation to the provision of our services. Where appropriate, we shall issue Client’s with appropriate written information, handouts or copies of records as part of an agreed contract, for the benefit of both parties. We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e- mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by this Company will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and products.

Disclaimer Exclusions and Limitations
The information on this web site is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this Company:
excludes all representations and warranties relating to this website and its contents or which is
or may be provided by any affiliates or any other third party, including in relation to any
inaccuracies or omissions in this website and/or the Company’s literature; and

Payment
Money transfer and PayPal are the acceptable methods of payment. Our terms are payment in full to confirm a space in a course. Returned payments will incur a US$35 charge to cover banking fees and administrative costs.

Cancellation Policy and Refunds:
For a full refund, a cancellation request must be received by email by Thursday, May 23rd , 2024. Refunds for cancellation requests received after May 23rd will be considered on a case-by-case basis but refund will not be guaranteed.

Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Additionally, for systems administration, detecting usage patterns and troubleshooting purposes, our web servers automatically log standard access information including browser type, access times/open mail, URL requested, and referral URL. This information is not shared with third parties and is used only within this Company on a need-to-know basis. Any individually identifiable information
related to this data will never be used in any way different to that stated above without your explicit permission.

Failure of either Party to insist upon strict performance of any provision of this or any Agreement or the failure of either Party to exercise any right or remedy to which it, he or they are entitled hereunder shall not constitute a waiver thereof and shall not cause a diminution of the obligations under this or any Agreement. No waiver of any of the provisions of this or any Agreement shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be such and signed by both Parties.

The Company reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time as it sees fit and your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms.
